Wow, oooooookay.

Was NOT expecting to absolutely LOVE this, but I devoured it, and I crave more. I cannot tell you how heartbroken I was to see that there isn't another book in the series and this one came out 5 years ago. I am DESPERATE to hear the others stories and to hear more about Alec and Zercy, please, please, Kora Knight I am begging on my hands and knees for the sequel. I would sell part of my soul for Garret's story and Chet's story (and Bailey's, and Jamis', and Noah's, and Zaden's...)

This book is looooong, but I really loved that she didn't skimp on world building and actually crafted a beautifully built relationship between the MCs. I also loved the glimpses we got of the other characters feelings and their own storylines. Yes, this book is mostly about Alec and Zercy but it's also about their whole team, AND the search and rescue team. Sometimes the amount of characters we learned about felt intimidating but it just made me want to stay in this world for that much longer

Completely unexpected but this bad boy is immediately going to the favorites shelf. Not a book I ever would have anticipated falling in love with this deeply, but here we are.
