Good, but not my favorite Picoult novel

"Small Great Things" offers some good insights and is an enjoyable read but not my favorite Picoult novel. The characters were not quite as complex and richly nuanced as they have been in some of her other novels. I liked to focus on implicit bias, but felt it could've gone even deeper on this topic. Still worth reading! My favorite Picoult novels are "Nineteen Minutes" and "The Storyteller".
