I really enjoyed the concept and the small bits of the male characters you see. That is the only reason it has a 2 star. But the execution was a just blah. About 50% into the book, we basically know the names of the main characters and that they are Demons of some kind, and that Delta is still in denial, having panic attacks and sexual fantasies while saying/asking nothing interesting and every other word out of her mouth is a 'dated' pop culture reference. Now yes realistically, if you found out you were a demon this could be how you react, but this is not real life it is fantasy fiction with only 300 pages to hook me. To spend that long on it is just losing me, the plot is not going anywhere, it just gets dumped on you in the last 25%, there is no character development, the main character is a whiny b*tch, it's basically nothing more than a panic-filled introduction to the rest of the series, rather than being a story that stands up on its own.
