This is a fantastic book set in the Costa Rican cloud forest. It is the story of a boy named Carlos who visits the cloud forest with great anticipation of the animals he is sure he will encounter. The tale of his journey is delightful and the gorgeous illustrations cause you to linger a bit longer on each page. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a book by Jan Brett...truly enjoyable.
