Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall

informative tense medium-paced

2.25

The audio edition had some editing issues that made the material more confusing and segmented than it needed to be. I highly recommend this book as a hard copy as opposed to it audio version.
You'll want to highlight the heck out of it as well, and look back into several chapters as they're divided by subject.
It would also help to do some research on Mikki Kendall herself, if you are unfamiliar with her work and knowing her background and contribution to the intersectional feminist conversation will help round out the book.
