Revealing Us by Lisa Renee Jones

4.5 stars - ARC received for honest review

If you have not read Being Me - stop reading this now!!

Revealing Us follows directly on from Being Me. The day after Ava tries to kill Sara, Sara and Chris fly off to Paris, where Chris has business and charities, and Sara hopes to immerse herself in the artworld.

Once they land in Paris, their troubles begin - before they even leave the airport!

Sara is still searching for her best friend Ella who travelled to Paris to get married - and has not been heard of since.

We have found out that Ava has confessed to murdering Rebecca, and the police investigation is unfolding, but they have a lot of questions for Sara which is causing her no end of trouble.

I love how understanding Chris is of what Sara is going through, how stressful the murder investigation is, how much she feels like a fish out of water in Paris. Also everything he is doing to help find Ella. Can you say "swoon".

He spends as much time with her - sightseeing, helping her get her career off the ground. They might have visited the Louvre and seen the Mona Lisa.

Chris' past keeps coming back to haunt him, and taunt Sara. Ex lovers, friends, trouble makers. Sara keeps trying to let Chris know that she is not leaving, and he keeps trying to push her away. I feel that the struggles they have with their relationship only make it so much stronger in the end. Their bond is unbreakable, no matter how much circumstances or people try. Eventually, Chris does reveal is secret.

I loved Revealing Us, loved, how Sara and Chris' relationship goes through the ringer but comes out so much stronger than either of them ever thought. Lisa Renee Jones has written a wonderful series, and I want to read more - now!!

Oh, and can't forget the Epilogue - what a cliffy, had me all -WTF?!?!?
