A Holly Jolly Ever After by Sierra Simone, Julie Murphy
5.0
I loved this book so much! The inclusion of an actress healing from purity culture (and all the fall out of getting divorced, dropping her picture perfect Christian girl persona, and filming a sexy holiday flick instead) was so so well handled. There were moments than caught my breath or made me tear up or yell in commiseration because I just got it. Plus, Kallum is a damn delight. Always the "fat/funny" one of his former boy band group, he gets hired as her costar and eventually becomes her.... ahem, research partner slash instructor when she wants to make sure she is believable in certain scenes. Their chemistry and connection are great, revisiting the town of Christmas Notch for filming was lovely, and learning more about side characters I assume will end up as book 3's leads was fun. Definitely my fave of the series and one I will probably want to read again in the future.
