I very much enjoyed this story about a former champion barrel racer and her cowboy. The story revolves around a lot of grief and family, including a traumatic death of a family member, and I think it is handled well from what I know of grief and loss. I enjoyed both POVs, appreciated that she was a little older than him and plus-sized and neither mattered, and loved the coming home aspect of the story. Ranches, farms, and the life aren't my thing but I can enjoy the setting as a reader and look forward to more books about the other Night Hawk Cowboys.
