im feeling all warm and fuzzy rn..christmas shopaholic is a hilarious, heartwarming festive read, the best of its kind. i giggled, chuckled, snorted, or even laughed out loud on every pg, a result of becky's shenanigans, situations, and the often deadpan delivery of humor. aside from the titular christmas, there's also a lot of subplots here--it can get overwhelming sometimes but they all come tgt and tied up neatly at the end.
my fav thing in this book is prolly the characters and their dynamics in the name of the ~christmas spirit~, how far some of them (namely becky, as vain and frustrating she can be at times) would go for the ones they love. the last chapter in particular is so satisfying and gives me so much contentment and joy. this book's def my quintessential annual festive read.
