I enjoyed the first book in this series and I enjoyed this one too. I have already bought the next one. The only thing I wasn't as keen on is that the mystery was more personal and we didn't really get much of the ordinary mortuary stories like we did in the first. Having said that I liked the story, I did guess the killer relatively early but it didn't mar my enjoyment of the rest of the book. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys crime thrillers but especially if you like a supernatural element to them. I think the 'visions' are dealt with really well and as a sceptic I never felt that the central character was wrong, or was seeing things. I enjoyed her interpretation of events. She analyses things with a scientific mind but she also isn't close minded either.
