My last book of 2024, I finished this with 1.5 hours left in the year! This is not my favorite of the Poirot books, but I still enjoyed it once it got going. It felt a bit like one of Agatha’s filler books with too many pages of Poirot’s meandering thoughts in my opinion and lots of somewhat stuffy social commentary 😅😇 I guessed some of it and laughed out loud at a couple of the sudden reveals. 
One of my 2025 goals is going to complete all the Poirot books so this was a good head start
