Fly Away Home by Felice Stevens
3.0
“You got these so you could fly away. Now you have a place to land. Here with me.”
What a breath of fresh words this book was.
Colson and Harper were like magnets.
The cop trope is underrated in my opinion and if you add the characteristics that Harper has it hits that even more.
A dedicated man to his job but even more to those he loves. A caregiver to his bones.
I was surprised at the writer arc that this book had for Colson, I loved it and it gave the story more depth and that added humor we all need to bring lightness to a book.
I haven't read much by Felice but I will be looking into more because the stories just suck you in until that sweet end.
