I feel like this is pretty widely panned but I don’t care, I looooved it. Yes it’s banal. Yes it’s repetitive. Congrats, welcome to online dating. I think SO often about how large our worlds have become thanks to technology and how it affects our brains, especially when it comes to dating. We have access to nearly everyone in the world at all times in some capacity. In less than 50 years, our choices for partners has expanded from mutual friends and occasional happenstance run-ins to quite literally any and everyone with a smartphone. The struggle, after digging through the trenches and finding a good person you actually want to date long term, is to actually choose them. Every day. You’re choosing them despite AND because. You’re choosing them while never actually knowing every single option that’s out there for you because at this point no one ever possibly could know. And that’s beautiful!!! You’re taking a leap of faith by choosing your partner every day. I just really resonated with Lauren and her faithlessness lol. Working on changing it, I promise!! But representation is important
