I sort of finished this book out of spite hahahaha I didn’t hate it by any means. I actually highlighted the shit out of it. But it’s definitely one where you take what you need and leave the rest. I took a lot from the first third of the book. Then I sort of…skimmed the rest. I think the work and knowledge of adrienne maree brown is IMMENSE and I truly learned a lot from this book. But I also struggled to connect dots at times and see where and how certain things made sense or tied in. I also thought it could have been about 70% of the length that it was. Overall I’ll def read more of her work! I do like what she stands for and educates on. And I’m SO happy she gave me more authors to really dive into to continue my on resistance work.
