Probably a new favourite MM romance.

I don’t know if I have eloquent words to add to this, but my stomach hurt in the best way reading this. It was angsty, it was beautiful.

It was single POV, and while yes I would have liked the other MC’s POV in some parts it didn’t feel like this story was lacking. It added to the mystery and suspense of the actions and secrets.

The way the author wrote, I truly felt the emotions happening. Like it was a punch to the gut.

Jude keeps everyone at arms length, even his life long friends. Until Blake comes along and slowly picks his way through his barriers. They become easy friends, and you kind of know he’s hiding something from the beginning but they are so happy together you almost forget. And then the secret comes to light and it’s just heart wrenching.

I’m obsessed with this.
