Ripped by Linden Bell

The one thing that stood out to me in this book was the need to overcome and let go.

I thought this would be a nice easy read with a spin instructor and a film maker who attends the spin instructors class. While it is that it is a whole hell of a lot more.
Connor & Donnie shoved me into the feelings right away.

Being cheated on with who you thought was your best friend is always going to sting but realizing it lasted far longer than you thought, yeah that hurts.
Losing your husband to an accident is never going to be easy to accept, you just hold onto things a lot longer than maybe you should have.

These two both have to overcome some hard things and ultimately do it together. It's like they slot together and make one whole piece. Connor finds comfort in Donnie and it's something that I didn't see coming going into this book. I also did not see the progression of these two as a couple. Although treading lightly it is still a great build up to them together.
The story goes at a speed that is not too fast and also not too slow for me either, it was just right.

Grief no matter what it is for is always hard to swallow and accept, Donnie accepts his and lets go in the most beautiful way. Sometimes it's good to release what could hold you back from something great.

This is my first book by Linden and it will not be my last that is for sure!
