This book is excellent. So original and thought-provoking. I read it in about 24 hours, and two things really resonate with me off the top. First, the content includes episodes of horrible objectification of women, but it's not gratuitous; it's necessary. One idea from the book is that we must not look away, and we need to be strong enough to bear witness. Second, I thought the Alice in Wonderland parallels were so well done, and that's tricky business. I'm so glad I read this book, and I'm sure I'll mull it over for quite a while.
Fair warning: there is profanity and disturbing content here, but it's thoughtful and effective.
