This is book 6 in the Split Rock Ranch series and I may not have read them all yet but I just love all the characters and their stories. 

This is an enemies to lovers story with so much pull between the characters. Izzy may be a fun loving young man and a brat at that, but deep down he is broken and just needs the right guidance to find happiness again. 

Vet, Dr Keegan Reid is just rubbing Izzy the wrong way and their fight like no tomorrow. But it is not only their fights that are explosive, their chemistry is off the charts and Keegan needs to decide if he wants to try to tame the wild horse Izzy his, because he knows they can have a good thing if they just try. 

 

From the first chapter I was hooked, Izzy’s past just crumbled me and I wanted to give him the biggest hug and say it will be fine maybe not today or tomorrow but one day. The spice is hot but it is the emotional pull between the two that made me read the book so fast. 

Also the side characters are chef’s kiss especially Jamie.  So don’t miss his story in the novella Something Unbelievable. That one is best read instantly after Something Unavoidable because trust me you need to know what will happen. 

You can read this book as a stand alone but trust me you want to know everyone's stories so starting from the beginning is the best thing. Also this book talks about some really heavy things so read the CW before proceeding.
