I knew I would love this book. I’ve loved grumpy Seth since the first book and oblivious Cohen since the last book. I was obsessed with the way they met, the dating app trope always seems to do it for me. And I loved the ace/demi representation.
The online talking went on for quite a lot of the book, and I can see how some people might not like that but I actually really enjoyed it, and seeing them interact in person without knowing. By the time they were revealing their identities, I was literally physically shaking with anticipation. You could not pry the book from my hands, I was absolutely hooked from the first page.
I really enjoyed the banter in this book as well, which I felt like it was lacking in Beck and Jacobs’s book and I missed from Foster and Zach’s book. Maybe it’s a Grant thing, but I just love it. I also loved how much we got to see Foster/Zach and Beck/Jacobs. And I adore Asher, cannot wait to get to his book.
The spice was so good, especially after building up that chemistry for months online. Ugh, it was so hot. And Seth’s got a bit of a dominance kink which I was totally here for. Even when they had their fight, I adored the way they got through it and came out stronger. I just love Seth and Cohen so much, if we don’t get more of them in the next book I will riot.
