I follow the author on Instagram but hadn't realized he'd written a book until more recently! The story about a teenage trans boy during his first year swimming on the boy's side of competition shows the reality of both accepting people and family as well as transphobic bullies. Obie also explores other areas of his identity, including his Korean side, being a student, and dating for the first time. I'm very glad I read this and think others should too. Bonus: the author narrates the audiobook!
