The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
5.0
“Will you vanish with the sun?”
“I will simply go where it’s dark again.”
This book...just wow. At first I was kind of on the fence about it, I thought all the reviews of it were a bit of an overreaction. I was very much proven wrong. This book has its claws in me. It will be on my mind for so long. Such a gripping story full of so many emotions that are so well portrayed. This will be on my list of books I wish I could read for the first time again, hands down. The characters are so complex, yet somewhat relatable at the same time. It’s fantasy in a way, but still rooted in reality. I will probably update my review of this a few more times because I just can’t explain it all right now.
And yes, I did cry.
