One Way

It was different to read a book that talked about the troubled times in Ireland, times I was only remotely aware of. And to read first hand how the phrase, "the brawling Irish", was actually fitting.

What really struck me was the honest and raw recount of his life...the temptations, the sin, the hurt and hope, the shattered dreams and the bright blessings. Anyone, if they are honest with themselves, can relate to this book.

After reading it, this sentence stuck with me : "Truth meant more than social acceptance". And that is true. The truth of Christ means more than anything in this world, and this book shows it....shows it with raw honesty.
