Was not expecting to get waylaid with emotions in what I thought would just be a cute beach read. This is my first Annabel Monaghan book, but her backlog is now on my TBR. I loved the character development and the relationships between not only the main pair, but how Monaghan explored motherhood and specifically mother-daughter bonds.

It was a smart, funny, and emotional read with a HEA to top it all off.
