If there is one thing I can say about this anthology, it would be that it has range. Zantua demonstrates his capability of writing short stories that make you pause and think in a similar fashion as Black Mirror, albeit more introspective in its tone. There is something for everyone here: from the reflective to the absurdist, the speculative bordering on dystopian, the literary with a dash of fabulism, and the downright dramatic. A fresh debut perfect for fans of Song of the Mango and Other New Myths by Vida Cruz-Borja.
