My thoughts:
I did struggle a bit with the fantasy aspect of women having their sons carrying on their father’s lands/name – things like the heroine’s father being with a male heir, and that being able to pass to her male child. It’s hard to adjust to something like that after reading more factual historical focused novels where women didn’t have rights like that, but I was able to let it go and find it kind of refreshing. I read so many of the hero’s having this kind of drive and pressure to have a son, but it was interesting having a heroine focused on that!
This is a very short story that is focused on the intimate scenes between Lilly and Ian. Fun, quick, and steamy with breeding vibes, I enjoyed this minotaur romp 😄
