Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
5.0
The fourth book in the series has come to a close for me (again). And I love it. It may be clunky to carry around but its ability to take me to a magical world holds up strong even on rereads (and doesn't that make it grand?).
Looking back on the series just shows the vast interconnection of the books to one another. The foreshadowing (Voldemort saying he has never truly died/made ways to be immortal) to there have been deaths in the tri-wizard tournament to Moody fear of being attack being more than just a crazy old bat paranoid as hell.), the description of things, the poetry. Rowling had to have master chops to pull off a great read and she has done just that! Every time I take a stroll through Harry and his antics, I just lose myself in the book haze of reading.
