I really just couldn’t stand this book. It was so cringe and I was just bored from the start. It took me over a month to drag myself through it and I’m so glad to be done with it. I really wish I’d listened to all the negative reviews before I started it!
Initially it just started to annoy me due to the amount of Spanish included that I wasn’t just able to understand from context, but then came the horribly cringy characters and writing, and it didn’t get any better. It was just a story of generically attractive male meets genetically attractive female with some horrible examples of encouraging diet culture and really cringey sex descriptions.
I will say I did enjoy some of the later chapters as they got a bit more intense and steamy but that was it’s only saving grace. As a general rule, I have really enjoyed a lot of the recent books which have got a bit of popularity from tiktok, but this just wasn’t it.

Really regret slogging through it but glad it’s done. 2 stars.
