Consider Me by Becka Mack

This was my second time reading this book and I love it even more this time since I've gotten to know everyone as the series has gone on. I think I said it best in my initial review: Carter Becket is the most cocky playboy NHL team captain turned marshmallow goo when he falls for Olivia, the tiny but snarky and lovely teacher. Not a sports gal, but love sports romances and even though I just read this for the first time less than a year ago, I couldn't get these characters out of my mind and needed to be back with them again. The family aspect of this series, both related and found, is so we'll done and enticing. Becca writes love, banter, emotion, and spice all so well, and now that I've read the next two that are out, I was seeing potential hints for future storylines I didn't realize the first time. Time for the next book!

2025 reread: Frik, I love this series. This book, I know it's great but because it's first I forget how much I love it until I read it again. My sister read the series so this is another reread prompted by talking to her about it and wanting to be back in the Vancouver Viper world. Carter and Olivia are perfect, especially the way they acknowledge that they're perfect for each other but aren't perfect people and try to always work together to be better (doesn't always work in the moment because they're human and there are some outside forces since he slept around so much and publicly before falling for her). I love all the Canadian-isms in this series and this team of big bad hockey players are so goofy and love each other so much, they're my fave. Time for the next one!
