I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to get around to reading this series! It was so funny, often in a very subtle and British way, and I really did love it. It’s ridiculous and quirky but in the best way and you have to just let it keep going.
I would have loved to be part of this as a teenager and when it was in its peak as a cult phenomenon, but I still got a lot of enjoyment out of reading it now. I flew through it as the writing was easy to read and so engaging, but it didn’t feel too much like a book for kids or teenagers.
Will absolutely be continuing onto the others in the series and I can’t wait to read more about the adventures of the group.
