A book of the times! But can we talk about this cover first? I admit I was first interested in this book - before even knowing what it was about - because of this beautiful af cover! Thankfully the writing and storyline matched the cover and I quickly fell in love with not only the cover but the characters and the story itself too.
When Jason Feldman finds the love of his life, Emily, dead from a fentanyl overdose he teams up with her friend, Delaney, to find out what really happened to her after the police write her death off as an accident.
This book is an onion book! There’s juicy layer after juicy layer of coverup, corruption, drug abuse, treatment centers, secrets, lies, and so much more.
The plot hooks you from the start and keeps you entertained throughout. It’s a book you can’t stop reading and will most likely finish in one sitting. It’s nonstop action as we follow Jason and Delaney on their quest to discover the truth - no matter where it leads them or the danger it puts them in.
Recommend this one! The story begins with a punch (IYKYK) and keeps them coming.
