Just Don't Fall by Emma St. Clair

A no spice hockey romance is a rare breed, as in I've never read one before level of rare. Now, I love me some steam but let me tell you the the chemistry was still sizzling in this closed door story about a woman who has never been kissed. When her long ago crush is back in town to play for the minor league team she works for after ten years away playing pro, they end up fake dating. Loved the dual POV, thought the growing friendship/take relationship was well done and well paced. Full of laughs and heart, as I have come to expect from this author. Plus, lovely Stars Hollow vibes and it's the first of seven interconnected standalones coming out this fall!
