Grace & Style: The Art of Pretending You Have It by Grace Helbig
3.0
I attended Grace's book signing after being an adoring fan of hers for about a year, maybe two. The line was incredibly long, but my friend and I were entertained by watching Grace's face expressions while taking pictures with the fans before us. Grace managed to come up with a different, genuine compliment for every person coming up to her. Maybe it was your fashion sense, your brightly colored hair, or your phone case. But she was amazingly sweet and awesomely quirky, taking maybe seven selfies on your phone. Grace goes between being your quirky older sister and your fabulous queen of awkward. That's why I was beyond excited to get a copy of her book.
I didn't want anything less. The sweatpants diaries were definitely my favorite, and the introduction was very enlightening. Although I know her challenge is not something you can simply overcome, I noticed she didn't say much about the solution. I really hope she's okay now. I also loved all of the pictures in the book. Grace is so beautiful, and she only makes it more noticeable by the funny facial expressions she makes. Thank you for creating for us, Grace!
