3.5 stars. I liked it better than the first book. Not as much as the second.

I have a hard time when characters are all split up. Scarlet remains my favorite heroine out of all of them so far, but it’s not her titular book, so we see her less. Ugh.

Also, the word “gulped” is used 47 times. That was annoying.
