Love and Other Thought Experiments by Sophie Ward

2.0

Overall in this book, the language was beautiful and the imagery interesting, but felt odd. The concept was different, but not well executed. Each little story was an interesting snippet. The philosophic slant added a deeper meaning to some of the stories and something to try to get you to think deeper about what the writer was saying, but it was vague. I found the writing clunky, the narrative confusing, the character none compelling and overall was left confused and not caring about the characters, the plot or where this was even going. Overall it was a slog to get through it. Which was a shame as It had a lot to say, it could have been tragic, nostalgic or sad but just missed the mark on all of it for me.
