A marriage in crisis is not my favorite trope, but I read this book to continue the series. There was just a lot of back and forth and it felt like nothing happened until over halfway through the book. One of the main issues I had was that Aiden and Freya had been married for 10 years and Aiden didn’t feel like part of the Bergman family. I understand his anxieties and insecurities, however it seemed odd that he would think her brothers wouldn’t also consider Aiden as a brother. It almost felt like they should’ve been married for half the time rather than 10 years. Other than that, it’s a cute redemption story and I like how the entire Bergman family was involved in this story.
