The story alternates between two women who lived a four centuries apart. There's a little mystery, mixed in with historical fiction. I thought the book sounded really interesting, but it didn't turn out as great as I thought it would be. The story was definitely interesting at parts, I just didn't like how uncaring or mean some of the characters were to each other. It felt like the book just ended without quite finishing the story.
