Penelope Sky really said I am done, sike!

Pearl and Crow take up about 1/4 of this book, which is about 1/8 too much IMO. Pearl almost turns into the whiny romantic lead who doesn't know whats best for her and is too stupid to have a single thought.

Cane is not a good guy either and once again some scenes are questionable when it comes to consent, but less so. Everything in this series is a notch tamer. Adeline is enjoyable and I like her more than Pearl because she thinks for herself and is dedicated.

When Cane is like you should go home to your family after I rescue you, she is like Uh ya? Obviously....

These two pick each other time and time again and that is what is redeeming for this series!
