Loved this! I always find myself getting frustrated with characters who are so damn righteous —“THIS is right, that is wrong, the world is black and white and I’m always going to do the RIGHT thing and fight against the WRONG thing.” The world is not black and white. Decisions people make are clouded with gray, and I love that this novel shows how difficult or impossible it is to actually make the RIGHT choice. Because the world is complex, and what is right to someone may not be right to someone else.
