Why are these characters so young?? This series seems like it would work just as well if these female characters were just finishing college instead of finishing high school. In this book, the main character is only 17! The male love interest meets her by becoming a substitute teacher at her high school! Obviously, that is inappropriate. For this reason, I would never recommend this series to teenagers. That being said, I do think it’s a series meant for adults. But that begs the question, why did the characters need to be so young? They act much older. Rest assured, however that there is no sexual content.
