The Honey Witch by Sydney J. Shields

3.0

3.5/5

This was a magnificent debut novel and cozy, sapphic, cottagecore, corny, fantasy read.
I enjoyed the overall story.
It was just very predictable. (I think I had the whole story guessed by like 30%?)

The ending felt rushed and there was overall a huge lack of information about the Ash Witch.
The book felt a little awkward to me at the beginning, like maybe the author was a little unsure or less confident in her story and writing. The farther the story progressed the more fluid the writing began to feel for me.

Overall I would recommend for an easy, relaxing, love story read.
