The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson
4.0
This was a fantastically well crafted, and intelligent psychological thriller that definitely deserves more hype! This is my first book by Swanson and can’t wait to pick up some of his other books!
I found this to be an enjoyable read, the writing style and narrative was engaging and kept me wanting to reading. The book is told from multiple points of view, mainly alternating between Ted and Lily but with some insights from other characters.
The frequent shifts in perspective and the revelations that came with them kept the suspense and tension high throughout the book. I really liked Lily’s character, she was extra dark and twisted and the insight into her mind was both fascinating and disturbing
Overall, this was an immensely entertaining read and the books constant twists and turns were surprising, and kept me guessing until the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone, whether you’re a longtime fan of psychological thrillers or new to the genre, this book is well worth your time.
