Mary Poppins Comes Back by P.L. Travers

3.0

I like that Mary Poppins is a book full of little stories of her adventures with the kids she nannies. I find them creative, imaginative, witty, and entertaining. However, her books seem to be more styled to parents reading a chapter to their children every night, not a story that builds on itself to reach an ultimate conclusion. I can perfectly imagine myself laying down with my children and reading them a story. However, I found it repetitive and a bit annoying when I tried to read it all for myself, an adult, who wanted to find out "what happened."

Read it with your kids. They'll love the stories.
