Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

The relationship between Kambili and Father Amadi seemed out of place. I could see her having a crush on Father Amadi, but the way he led on a 15 year old was disturbing. Other than that I really enjoyed this book. The effects of their father's abuse on the whole family, while he presented a different personal to the town as a whole, rang true, and his comeuppance in the end was well deserved.
