I really like a lot of aspects to this book. There are several funny characters(esp our main FMC), there are trials, there is found family etc. 

I just think overall this book felt very choppy and I had a hard time connected the romance aspects. It all felt very rushed and there wasn't enough depth to make it believable. 

I do think that the series will get better and better, so I will be continuing, but this is very much a first book in a series.
