Not even halfway through the book I began desperately searching for more by this author. The main character, Spencer, was one of my favorites in a long time. She wasn't over powered or the chosen one or anything like that, which is refreshing for this genre. Her personality and flaws were well written. The characters were all well thought out, even the villains weren't one dimensional. Now the spoilers:
1.When we thought Nell died I actually cried. Hadn't even met the character it was just that good
2.I can't pick a favorite character. I really liked Eleni. She was mean but she was doing what she could to protect everyone.
3.When she understood the evil dude?? Top tier. I do think the ending where she asked about empathy implies that she wasn't like him the way she initially feared, which she had figured out by that point
