Emezi can probably do everything??? What a special story, a hopeful image of what could be in a world without prisons and discrimination while also serving as a reminder that harm lurks even in people or places we least suspect. There are no good or bad things, only things. While this is a YA novel, I honestly feel like this should be on everyone’s shelves, a beacon for what could be in a world governed by justice, truth, and love, all in their most honest, substantial forms.
