This was a treat to read, delectable and whimsical horror. Niecey's Garden was the standout to me with how it perfected this dazzling, morbid, obsessive vibe. And the title story and What We Owe Each Other had me fearing for my life.

I was very curious about the worldbuilding and characters in some of the stories and think they could be expanded into full length novels, like Something Got a Hold of Me and What Dinah Knew. Some of them worked rlly well as short stories too tho (the poetic justice of In Which Two Women Kill a Man!)

Overall, I can't wait to watch this author's writing grow in the future.
