I knew there was zero chances I’d love this as much as the first book because that one was just perfection. But let me tell you, this one comes pretty dang close! Kingfisher is just beyond talented, the worlds and the stories they weave are just so astonishing and unlike any other author or stories out there. Every book I read by them I’m just kind of stunned by how fucking good they are.
