SO YAY I MANAGED TO FINISH THIS ONE BEFORE NEW YEAR'S bc I wanted to end this confusing year with an amazing read and even if it's not 5 stars I loved this book so much, but like usual with Philippa's I have trouble getting into it but then I just devour the rest of the book when I get into my groove. So yes, this series I have to suspend reality a lot bc of the fantasy elements in this, yet I can't help but love the portrayal of these historical characters. If I wanted realism I have other amazing books, such as Alison Weir's. But yeahhh loved this one so much.
