Uff. This was so good. I am invested. This was so detailed and complex in the political dynamics that are constantly changing. Every character added something imo, even if it was just context in the world building. Excited to go through the rest.


Fav part was the kidnapping of the cook during one of the early raids.. the excitement they al had in finally having someone who could actually cook them something real to eat
